Judy's Dolls, located in Longwood, Florida, (just minutes from Disney) is proud to be one of the select dealers nationwide to offer the Newborn Nursery. Come enjoy the experience of a lifetime in our Newborn Nursery Adoption Center. Some are moved to tears and others to irresistible grins as they "adopt" an infant doll. Hearts will melt as you peer through the Nursery window at all the Nursery Newborn babies anxiously waiting for a loving home.

   The nursery visit and adoption process are wholesome, family activities that provide the perfect-shared experience for the entire family. These newborn baby dolls, loved and cuddled over the years, will become cherished family heirlooms that frequently lead to a lifetime of doll collecting. Unlike other play dolls, which are often quickly discarded, baby dolls from the Newborn Nursery Adoption Center become members of the family. Each is given a special name by the adoptive parent. A deep bond between child and baby is created as the youngster goes through the adoption process. Family members are also encouraged to participate in the adoption by donning a hospital gown and joining the new mother in the nursery for pictures.     Once their hearts have been captured, doll lovers and moms-to-be of all ages select a baby from the many choices of hair and eye color combinations, and decide if it’s a boy or girl. Heartwarming questions that encourage parenting skills such as "Do you promise to love and care for your baby" and "Will you sing your baby to sleep if he/she is upset" are asked. Each new mom puts on a special gown and then is brought into the nursery to participate in preparing the baby to go home. The baby is weighed, measured, and dressed in the mother's choice of a special going home outfit. The nurse then invites the new mother to sit in the rocking chair where she is presented with her baby, and pictures are taken to capture this special moment. The new parent receives an official adoption certificate, sealed with an embossed footprint.

    If you're vacationing in Florida, this is a perfect opportunity for our out-of-town friends to enjoy the experience of a lifetime in our Newborn Nursery Adoption Center. We are just minutes off I-4, within easy reach of Disney, Sea World, and Universal Studios. Adoptions are available without an appointment at any time during our regular store hours, which are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm , and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm . If you would like an after-hours appointment, there is no additional charge, but you will need to call and schedule an appointment. We look forward to your visit!
